Your Brain Exercise of the Week ~ November 22th, 2021
Working on your cognition is an important part of keeping your mind sharp and maintaining independence. One way to target your cognitive skills is to complete one or both of the tasks below.
*Remember, for this cognitive activity to qualify as a brain fitness exercise, you should participate at a level that is challenging for you.
Directions:
Organize the list of holidays into chronological order, starting with January holidays and ending with December holidays. Then sort the list into the seasons of the year when they occur (example Winter holidays, Summer holidays, etc). Write down next to each holiday at least one object or theme that comes to mind for each holiday ( example: 4th of July celebrations typically include the American flag or fireworks).
