Your Brain Exercise of the Week ~ November 15th, 2021

Working on your cognition is an important part of keeping your mind sharp and maintaining independence. One way to target your cognitive skills is to complete one or both of the tasks below.

Directions:

Using mental math and visual imagery skills, solve the problem listed.

PROBLEM: 

You are going to a dental appointment today at a new dental office.  Your appointment is at 1:15 PM, however they asked you to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time so you can complete the new patient intake forms.

You know it takes approximately 40 minutes to get to the shopping plaza where the office is located, however there is typically a good bit of traffic around that area and you anticipate an additional 10 minute delay may occur.

What time would you leave home to arrive on time?
