Your Brain Exercise of the Week ~ January 3rd, 2022

Working on your cognition is an important part of keeping your mind sharp and maintaining independence. One way to target your cognitive skills is to complete one or both of the tasks below.

*Remember, for this cognitive activity to qualify as a brain fitness exercise, you should participate at a level that is challenging for you.



You’ll need a writing device and paper/tablet.

From the list below, identify the tasks that are necessary when making a cup of hot tea.

o    Fill the teapot with the necessary amount of water
o    Get out your most decorative mug
o    Pour hot water into the mug
o    Place tea bag into the mug 
o    Make sure you have 2 different types of cookies available to go with the tea 
o    Call your family to let them know the tea is ready
o    Add cream and/or sugar to taste

Write down or state aloud 5 items needed in order to make a cup of tea.
